If you purchased meat semi -finished products in pieces, then remember that large pieces are recommended to be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 48 hours, small pieces – no more than 24 hours. Entire carcasses of birds can easily lie in the refrigerator for up to 36 hours. But meat from meat should not be stored for a long time – it is better to make dinner or lunch from it no later than 5-6 hours of storage. When using semi -finished products, try to defrost exactly as much product as you need to prepare a dish. If you still have not calculated a portion and prepared more than you need, then do not mix a thawed product with frozen. This will help you avoid stomach problems after cooking from such a product of dishes.

Semi -finished products made from fish are also not subject to too long storage in the refrigerator. If you store fish in the freezer and you are pleased with a thick piece of ice that formed in fish, then you can, of course, in such conditions for a long time. But whether it will be delicious when you cook it – this, as they say, is a big question. According to food production technology, with long -term storage, the fish loses quite a lot of its taste and food qualities and turns into an almost tasteless product. Based on this, do not purchase fish semi -finished products for the future – it is better to cook and eat a delicious and not long -term fish for a frozen state than having no taste.

Many stores offer modern women semi -finished products from dough, which help women delight their loved ones with fresh pastries and at the same time do not spend a lot of time on its preparation. Semi -finished products from dough require a special approach – during storage they should not turn into a piece of ice block and dehydrate. It is also not recommended to purchase semi -finished products for the future – their permissible shelf life in the refrigerator does not exceed three days.

Semi -finished products from vegetables and fruits that help diversify our diet in winter and saturate our body with vitamins, it is advisable to store in different compartments of the freezer so that they do not absorb each other’s smells. You should not experiment and try to store, for example, greens with berries – after such a joint storage, the compote welded from the berries will smell not only by raspberries or strawberries, but also by parsley and dill if they were in the freezer in the neighborhood. It is believed that in a frozen state, fruits and vegetables can be stored for a very long time, but still sometimes you should do their external examination and ruthlessly throw away those products on which dents or spots appeared.

Many buyers mistakenly believe that canned semi -finished products can be stored almost forever. Of course, at low temperatures, they will remain for a long time, but if you still open them, then you need to forget about it – such products will not be suitable after three days. Experts do not recommend storing open canned food in a tin can – for the sake of maintaining your own health, transfer them to glass or enameled dishes and only then send them to the refrigerator.
