Abortion is an operational way to stop the development of the embryo. All abortions are divided into early and late. At the same time, all its contents – and this is a fertilized egg and all its shells – just suck. The whole operation takes no more than 30 seconds.
Vacuum abortion is carried out under local anesthesia and, as a rule, does less harm. However, it is worth remembering that any interruption is carried out blindly, and therefore not all parts of the embryo can move out of the uterus . This can lead to inflammation of the uterus, while infertility may develop – the most formidable complication of each abortion.
Instrumental abortion
This procedure is carried out for a period of 6 to 12 weeks. At the same time, the fetus already beats the heart, and he feels pain. Typically, such an abortion is performed in a hospital with hospitalization for two days. There is a tool abortion under general intravenous anesthesia. The first thing the cervix is expanded first, then the length of the uterus is measured with a special tool, and only then with the help of a sharp spoon, which is called a curette, the fetal is crap in parts and placenta.
Medication abortion
This type of abortion occurs using specially designed tablets. But it can be carried out no later than 6 weeks of pregnancy. At the same time, the formation of progesterone, the main hormone, which is responsible for its preservation and development, is violated in the woman’s body. After taking the tablet, and this drug is called Mifeprex, there is a detachment of the fetal egg from the walls of the uterus and the fetus along with the placenta and all shells are removed outside. We can say that these tablets simply provoke a miscarriage.
Abortion in the late stages
Such an abortion is done in three ways. The first is a cesarean section. The second is the evidence of artificial genera. The third is the introduction of a concentrated solution of salt into the uterine cavity, which causes the death of the fetus when burning its skin and organs. Unfortunately, sometimes with such an abortion the fetus can be born alive and even live for a while, but its death is still inevitable.
